Online & in-person Counselling for individuals

Meet Katy, Integrative Counsellor & Psychospiritual Guide

Hello and welcome,

I am a soulful, Integrative Counsellor offering weekly therapy sessions in south Devon and online. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, supporting you in understanding yourself more deeply to create meaningful, lasting change.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychosynthesis Psychology, described as a ‘psychology of hope,’ and am an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

I create a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental space where you will feel seen, heard, understood and less alone.

Explore your inner world to experience profound evolution in your life and relationships. This work is deeply rewarding ~ I’m so glad you’re here.

Katy

Are you struggling to make sense of what you're feeling? I can help you find a way through.

I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate mirror to gently address current challenges, whilst supporting a reconnection to what your soul is longing for in this chapter of life.

I describe myself as a ‘fellow traveller’, walking alongside you as you make or process big changes and loss. I help you to create a life that feels true to you from an empowered place.

My training in Psychosynthesis provides a hopeful, spiritual and soulful approach that centres our spiritual connection to nature and creativity, whilst inspiring practices to connect you to your intuition, inner direction and sense of possibility.

This style of therapy supports you to feel that you can truly be yourself in this world.

This style of Counselling can help you to:

  • Feel less stuck, let go and move on

  • Make meaning of your grief and process healthily

  • Integrate parts of yourself currently causing pain or blockages

  • Reduce fear of the unknown

  • Disidentify from cultural conditioning and inherited scripts

  • Gain clarity on your changing identity as you evolve through the chapters of life

  • Deepen connection to your intuition and feel trusting in your own guidance

  • Claim a life ahead of you that reflects the real you

  • Transform your relationships

  • Feel connected to possibility, choice and hopefulness

  • Experience an increased sense of courage and freedom

The human behind the therapist:

My background includes a long international corporate marketing career, as well as co-founding a business coaching women in senior leadership. Having lived in Australia, UK and Mexico and travelled extensively, I am adept at working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

I have a deep interest in the meeting of spirituality and creativity and how embracing these aspects of self can help make meaning of the past, accept loss, recognise worth beyond cultural scripts ~ and illuminate a true identity that longs to be expressed.

My own aliveness is fed on a rich diet of nature, song, meditation, imagination and a sprinkling of the mystical.

This work matters deeply to me because I want you to live a life that feels true and meaningful to you, so that your relationships thrive, and the energy you share contributes positively to your community and ultimately, the collective.

What people say…

  • “It feels like I have a space to be exactly who I am supposed to be. I never thought I would experience this love and appreciation I now have for myself, on the inside. It used to be a dark place at times and I always thought it would be that way. I would have bet a million pounds that we couldn't change how I was feeling. And to now be here, feeling this way, I never would have believed you. I used to feel unfixable, I was pretending to be happy on the outside and I thought it was all I would ever know. I am so grateful that you have shown me another way. It's really special."

    Beth

  • "I feel so lucky that I found you. I knew that my awful stomach problems were related to stress, but I couldn't find a way to change things. The space you provided to regulate my nervous system and remember how to truly take care of myself has changed everything for me. My health is better and my relationships are calmer because I am able to be more present. Finally, at 47 my life looks and feels like mine. I am endlessly grateful".

    Emma

  • "Life feels so much calmer and steadier now. I was so sick of repeating the same patterns, and I am beyond grateful to have changed this. Getting to know who I am at this stage of life has been such a joy - I really like myself now! I am more accepting of the things I cannot change, and I feel so much more grateful for what I do have in my life. Sincerely, thank you."

    Anya

  • "I never would have imagined that therapy could be such an empowering and inspiring experience. Yes its been hard at times but the impact its had on my life is hard to put into words. I love how you are always helping me notice what my heart really wants from life. And now I feel like I am on the path towards that. Some of our sessions have been really fun! I never expected that."

    Sharon

  • “Working with you has been better than I ever could have hoped or expected. I was in such a sticky, painful, dark time of life and our sessions together have flooded me with light. Your gentle but profound nature was exactly what I needed. I’ve sent an impassioned Thank You to my friend for recommending you because choosing to work with you really was the best decision I could have made.”

    Emily

  • The sessions with you have completely changed my life. I now feel like I value myself enough to take responsibility for my life and to say ‘no’ - without having to explain myself. By healing some of the experiences from my past, I finally feel like I am respecting myself as much as anybody else, which is giving me time and energy for the most important projects and people in my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Karen

  • Your work is phenomenal, Katy. Delicate, kind, sensitive, curious, soul searching but not uncomfortable, warming, intimate, caring, safe, honest, emotional, loving. Being witnessed by you in this space has improved my life so much. I wish everyone could do it, its so powerful. Thank you, thank you, thank you”
